When I start a new presentation, I usually start with a blank, white slide and create my own design. But on those times when I want to have a quick design, I turn to a few presentation template sites where I can search their designs and find what I am looking for. Then I can download the template I like a customize it.
This was the first presentation template website I used. This is a great site to find interesting presentation slides. SlidesCarnival has templates for both PowerPoint and Google Slides. The Google Slides are just a click away for you to use.
This is another presentation template site similar to SlidesCarnival.
SlidesMania is a site I just found out about. It also has presentation templates, but in addition, has some lesson plan templates for educators.
BONUS
I have been toying with the idea of a class taking the Canva Design School's basic design course. It is quick and gives students hands-on practice which they can apply to their own work.
